About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Frappe Developer Intern to join our Software team. In this role, you will work closely with our senior developers and product managers to design, build, and optimize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions using the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.

Key Responsibilities
- Custom App Development: Design and develop custom DocTypes, modules, and workflows within the Frappe Framework tailored for PLM use cases (e.g., Bill of Materials (BOM) management, engineering change orders, version control, and CAD integrations).
- Backend & Frontend Integration: Write clean, efficient Python code for server-side logic and use JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build intuitive user interfaces.
- API Development & Integration: Develop and consume REST APIs to integrate the Frappe-based PLM system with third-party tools such as CAD software, ERP modules, and external databases.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests, troubleshoot existing code, optimize database queries, and ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of technical specifications, architecture designs, and user workflows.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Core Technical Stack:
- Strong proficiency in Python (OOP, server-side logic).
- Solid command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL or MariaDB) and SQL query writing.
- Web Fundamentals: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git version control, and basic Linux command-line operations.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, a proactive attitude toward learning open-source tech, and good team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Framework Experience: Prior hands-on experience, personal projects, or internships involving the Frappe Framework or ERPNext.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts, such as Bill of Materials (BOM) multi-level structuring, revision control, engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), or CAD data integration.
- Additional Tools: Experience with Linux, CI/CD tools
