Role Overview
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Vecmocon Technologies, you will work closely with our engineering team on the design and development of EV auxiliary components. This role provides hands-on exposure to Mechanical CAD, manufacturing processes, and design validation techniques. You will gain experience across sheet-metal, plastic, and die-cast part design, contributing directly to real product development.

Key Responsibilities

1) CAD Design & Ideation – Support the creation of 3D models, assemblies, and conceptual design iterations.
2) Design Validation (CAE) – Assist in basic simulations (structural and fluid) to validate design performance.
3) Prototype Development Support – Coordinate with manufacturing partners during prototype builds and conduct basic quality checks.
4) Manufacturing Communication – Help communicate design intent and requirements to manufacturing vendors.

Role Requirements

1) CAD Skills – Introductory knowledge of part modeling, assemblies, 2D drawings, and basic GD&T. Proficiency in SolidWorks is preferred.
2) CAE Skills – Basic understanding of FEA (structural) and CFD (fluid) simulations. Experience with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation is a plus.
3) Project Experience – Demonstrated ability to handle small engineering or technical projects independently.
4) Preferred Background – Formula Student experience in the mechanical domain is a strong advantage.
