Key Responsibilities

EV Charger Repair & Maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair AC/DC EV chargers.
  • Troubleshoot faults at component and module level.
  • Replace defective components such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, Bridge Rectifiers, Capacitors, Resistors, Relays, Fuses, Transformers, Connectors, etc.
  • Perform functional testing after repair.
  • Update repair details in the service management system.
  • Ensure repaired chargers meet quality standards before dispatch.

EV Vehicle Service

  • Inspect electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
  • Diagnose battery, motor, controller, charger, wiring harness, throttle, brake switch, and electrical issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
  • Conduct PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and final quality checks.
  • Perform road testing where applicable.

Installation & Field Support

  • Install EV chargers at customer locations.
  • Commission chargers and verify charging performance.
  • Attend onsite service calls and warranty complaints.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding repair status and issue resolution.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain service reports and repair records.
  • Update repair status in ERP/CRM (e.g., VIT / Google form / or company software).
  • Record spare parts consumption accurately.
  • Report repeated failures and technical observations to Team Lead.

Inventory & Tools

  • Handle repair tools properly.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness (5S).
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of spare parts.
  • Return unused materials after work completion.

Quality & Safety

  • Follow SOPs and repair guidelines.
  • Use ESD and electrical safety precautions.
  • Follow PPE requirements during repair and installation.
  • Maintain quality standards and minimize repeat failures.

Required Skills

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP/CRM). Knowledge of multimeter, clamp meter, soldering/desoldering. Basic understanding of Lithium-ion battery systems. Ability to read circuit diagrams. Good understanding of electrical and electronic circuits. Familiarity with EV motors, controllers, and BMS. Knowledge of AC/DC charging systems. Component-level troubleshooting.
