Role Overview
We are seeking a highly energetic Marketing Associate with a core engineering background to manage our product marketing campaigns and event operations. The ideal candidate speaks the language of engineers but has the strategic mindset of a marketer. You will be responsible for driving lead generation, orchestrating tech shows, executing targeted outreach campaigns, and managing our end-to-end event presence.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing & Lead Generation
- Design and execute targeted B2B product marketing campaigns across all product categories.
- Generate high-quality leads through a multi-channel approach, including cold calling, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and specialised technical presentations.
- Spearhead our college engagement programs to build early brand affinity and attract top-tier engineering talent or academic partnerships.
Event Management & Vendor Coordination
- Organise and manage "Customer Tech Shows" and "Tech Days" to showcase Vecmocon’s capabilities to potential clients and partners.
- Manage end-to-end event participation, including stall booking, layout planning, and on-ground execution.
- Coordinate seamlessly with external vendors for fabrication work, corporate gifting, and event logistics to ensure high-quality brand representation.
Market Intelligence & Brand Building
- Actively monitor the EV ecosystem, gathering market intelligence to keep the company ahead of industry trends and competitor movements.
- Translate complex technical features of Vecmocon's EV components into compelling marketing narratives.
- Continuously optimise outreach strategies based on campaign data and industry insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background (Mandatory): B.Tech / B.E. in Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering.
- Industry Knowledge (Highly Preferred): A strong understanding of the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry, either through direct work experience, academic projects, or deep personal interest.
- Marketing Acumen: Proven passion for brand building, market intelligence, and B2B lead generation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable pitching technical products to engineers and procurement heads alike.
- Organisational Skills: Strong project management abilities with a track record of successfully coordinating with external vendors and managing live events.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), email marketing tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a strong plus.
